The Israeli Medical Device sector is relatively strong, due to its high IT content and the openness of this sector to innovation generally. Over the years, it has shown less volatility than other sectors, such as biotech, IT and internet. However medical device companies typically take a long time to mature, are subject to stringent product regulation and often require a large investment before they generate sales.
At the January event of the MIT Forum, experienced entrepreneurs, managers and professionals will discuss the challenges confronting medical device companies, and suggest a roadmap for the aspiring medical device entrepreneur.
