Yoram Horowitz, Vice President, Master Data Management, SAP Yoram is Vice President, Master Data Management in SAP Technology & Innovation Platform organization, running a global team. Yoram has over twenty-five years of experience as a successful entrepreneur and software industry executive. Prior to SAP, Yoram co-founded and managed A2i Israel, a small enterprise software company head-quartered in LA, USA, in which he joined in 1995. A2i, Inc., was acquired by SAP in 2004 for its enterprise-wide platform for product content management and catalog publishing. He has spent the last fifteen years working on the challenges of master data management and has been the key architect behind the inception and ongoing development of SAP's MDM vision and product. Prior to A2i Yoram was 6 years with IBM, Account Manager for large accounts in the industrial sector, OEM and relationships between the Israel High-Tech and IBM R&D Labs over the world. Prior to IBM, Yoram was with Rafael, Armament Development Authority of Israel, heading the Chief Programmer’s team, responsible for planning and control in the Missile Division. Yoram’s academic background includes a B.Sc. (1983) and M.Sc. (1988) from the Technion, Technology Institute of Israel, in Economy and Management, Information Systems and Industrial Management
