Avi Luvton, Director Business Development – S. America, Matimop

Mr. Avi Luvton is Executive Director, International Cooperation Programs – Asia Pacific at MATIMOP - the Israeli Industry Center for R&D, which coordinates industrial R&D cooperation between Israel and the international hi-tech community.
In May 2009, Mr. Luvton was appointed to manage activities with Asia, Pacific & South America in MATIMOP. His main tasks are designing, developing and implementing industrial R&D cooperation and innovation based programs.
Prior joining MATIMOP, from 1995-2008, Mr. Luvton held in several managerial positions at Bezeq, Israel's largest telecommunications carrier, where he was Director of the Networks Department in the Engineering & Network Division, and Head of the Data Network Department.
Mr. Luvton holds an M.B.A. in Business Administration from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev and a B.A. in Computer Science from the Open University of Israel.
