Mr. Doron Marco founded Tulip Medical with Dr. Shimon Eckhouse in 2005 and is currently a member of the board of directors and serves as its CTO. Prior to founding Tulip, Mr. Marco founded D-crown in 2004. D-crown developed a unique catheter that deploys a stent to multiple constant diameters to improve physician assurance, versatility and performance. In 1995, Mr. Marco founded Citala and served as the CEO for six years, helping Citala to transform from a small R&D startup to a mature technology company with a large manufacturing plant in Taiwan. Citala was the first company in the world to introduce a display technology that enables the use of plastic rather than glass substrates and combines a simple proven production process with superior mechanical, electrical, and optical properties. Prior to Citala, Mr. Marco founded X Analogy, a private research and development company that developed mechanical and electrical devices and sold the IP to manufacturing companies.
