History & Chapters

The MIT Enterprise Forum of Israel is the Israeli chapter of the MIT Enterprise Forum, Inc. that was originally founded by MIT graduates in 1978 as a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting and strengthening the way new technology-oriented companies get their start, and providing information needed for them to grow and prosper.

The MIT Enterprise Forum of Israel, established in 1994, was the first chapter to be started outside of North America and is one of the most active chapters in a network of 28 MIT Forum worldwide chapters.

With over 120 top notch events, featuring a long list of distinguished speakers and panelists, as well as unique consultation programs, the Forum has earned the reputation as one of the premier high-tech venues in Israel. Past participants in our events include well-respected, successful entrepreneurs, CEOs, VCs, and senior-level executives from leading companies.

The high-tech community that we serve has grown over the years. Today, we are in direct contact with more than 5,000 entrepreneurs and high-tech managers.

The Forum has been operating in cooperation with Tel Aviv University Faculty of Management - the Leon Recanati Graduate School of Business Administration since 1999. Our events usually take place in Recanati Building, Tel Aviv University campus.

The MIT Enterprise Forum of Israel is part of a global network of 28 worldwide chapters of the MIT Enterprise Forum, Inc.
