Rina Pridor![]() An attorney, graduate of the Hebrew University's Law school and a member of the Israeli Bar. Participated in the early seventies in establishing the office of the Chief Scientist in the Ministry of Industry & Trade. In 1978 moved to the private sector joining Worldtech Israel Ltd, a private company representing foreign investments in industrial R&D projects in Israel. Appointed in 1984 as CEO of the company. Through Worldtech Ltd. More than 30 $ million were raised in the U.S. and invested in Hi-tech companies in Israel, Start ups' seed money mainly. Among those start ups were: Teledata, Efrat (Comverse), Oshap/Robcad (Technomatics) and Lannet - Today leading Hightech public companies. In 1991 joined again the office of chief scientist in order to establish and operate the Technological Incubators program in Israel. In her current capacity as the Director of the program, she is in charge of creating the program's framework and its implementation, setting objectives and rules, managing and operating of Government support budget. Within the frame of this program 24 Technological incubators are operational. Hundreds of R&D projects have been carried out by novice inventors and entrepreneurs which led to new Hi- tech Start -ups. The program's annual Governmental budget is 35 million dollars.
